On the panel 25VU, make sure that the APU MASTER SW p/bsw is OFF.
(3)
Make sure that there is a warning notice in the cockpit to tell persons not to start the APU.
(4)
Make sure that hydraulic systems are depressurized
(Ref. TASK 29-00-00-864-001).

Put the access platform in position below the APU access doors 315AL and 316AR.
(2)
Open the APU access doors 315AL and 316AR (Ref. TASK 52-41-00-010-001).
(3)
Make sure that the light SW 11LJ is set to the ON position.
4. Procedure

A. Installation of the Surge/Bleed Duct (8049KM) CAUTION : DO NOT TORQUE THE V-CLAMP(S) TO MORE THAN THE SPECIFIED VALUE.

YOU CAN DAMAGE THE FLANGE SURFACES IF YOU DO.
(1)
Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
(2)
Remove the blanking plugs.
(3)
Install the O-ring (20) in the surge/bleed duct (8049KM) (15).
(4)
Hold the surge/bleed duct (8049KM) (15) in position and install the bolts (19). Do not fully tighten the bolts at this step of the procedure.
(5)
Attach the surge/bleed duct (8049KM) (15) to the surge control valve
(17) with the V-clamp (16). Do not fully tighten the V-clamp at this step of the procedure.
(6)
Attach the surge/bleed duct (8049KM) (15) to the bleed-load control valve (14) with the V-clamp (13). Do not fully tighten the V-clamp at this step of the procedure.
