Examine the inlet duct (8) for damage. Replace the duct if necessary.

Examine the fan vanes for damage. Replace the fan if necessary.
(4)
Examine the mounting flange for damage, if the APU flange is damaged, replace the APU (Ref. TASK 49-11-11-000-004).
(5)
Apply a thin layer of lubricant OILS (Material No. 03-002) to the new packing (7) and O-rings (6).
(6)
Install the new packing (5) on the fan (8).
(7)
Put the clamp (2) into position on the fan mounting flange.
(8)
Install the fan (4) in the APU. NOTE : Make sure that the alignment pin is engaged in the APU flange
____ and the fan splined drive is fully engaged.
(9)
Install the clamp (2).
(10)
TORQUE the clamp (2) to 0.68 m.daN (60.17 lbf.in)

Put the fan outlet duct (1) into position and install the clamp (6).

TORQUE the clamp (6) to 0.34 m.daN (30.08 lbf.in).

Put the fan inlet duct (8) into position and install the clamps (7).
