 Position clamp (7) and attach duct (6) to the fan (12).

 (h)
 TORQUE clamp (7) to between 15 and 21 lbf.in (0.16 and 0.23 m.daN).

 (i)
 Position clamp (4) on duct (5) and locate cooling duct (3) on the duct (5).

 (j)
 Secure the cooling duct (3) on the fan (12) with the bolts (9).

 (k)
 TORQUE the bolts (9) to 40 lbf.in (0.45 m.daN).

 (l)
 TORQUE the clamp (4) to between 10 and 16 lbf.in (0.11 and 0.18 m.daN).

 (m)
 Install the duct (1) with the clamps (2) and (10).

 (n)
 TORQUE the clamps (2) and (10)

 (o)
 Make sure that the electrical connectors are clean and in the correct condition.

 

 

 


 (p)
 Install the electrical connector (8). Subtask 49-52-53-865-052

 Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s): 1KD, 2KD

 Do a functional test of the APU and make sure that the APU operates within the oil temperature limits (Ref. TASK 49-00-00-710-008).

 Examine the cooling fan for oil leaks.

 Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tool(s) and other items.

 Set the LIGHT control switch 11LJ to the off position.

 Close the APU access doors 315AL, 316AR (Ref. TASK 52-41-00-410-001).

 (4)
 Remove the access platform(s).


 (5)
 Remove the warning notice(s). Subtask 49-52-53-860-051

 Put a warning notice in the cockpit to tell persons not to start the APU.

 Make sure that hydraulic systems are depressurized
