A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1)
Energize the ground service network
(Ref. TASK 24-42-00-861-001).
(2)
On the panel 25VU, make sure that the APU MASTER SW p/bsw is OFF.
(3)
Make sure that there is a warning notice in the cockpit to tell persons not to start the APU.
(4)
Make sure that hydraulic systems are depressurized
(Ref. TASK 29-00-00-864-001).
(5)
Make sure that the access platform is in position below the APU compartment.
(6)
Make sure that the APU access doors are open (Ref. TASK 52-41-00-010-001).
(7)
Make sure that the LIGHT control SW 11LJ is set to the ON position.

A. Installation of the Inlet Pressure Transducer
(1)
Remove the blanking plug from the APU.
(2)
Lubricate the new packing (2) with OILS (Material No. 03-002).
(3)
Install the new packing on the transducer (3).
(4)
Put the transducer (3) into the APU.
(5)
TORQUE the nut (1) to 0.45 m.daN (39.82 lbf.in)
(6)
Remove the blanking caps from the electrical connectors.
(7)
Connect the electrical connector (4) to the transducer (3). Subtask 49-51-21-710-050
B.
Start and operate the APU. (Ref. TASK 49-00-00-860-008)
(1)
Examine the air transducer assembly for air leaks.
NOTE : No leaks are permitted.
(2)
Stop the APU. (Ref. TASK 49-00-00-860-009)

Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tool(s) and other items.
(2)
Set the LIGHT control SW 11LJ to the OFF position.
(3)
Close the APU access doors 315AL, 316AR (Ref. TASK 52-41-00-410-001).

Remove the access platform(s). Subtask 49-51-21-860-052
C.
Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1)
Pressurize the reservoirs of the hydraulic systems.
(Ref. TASK 29-14-00-614-002).
(2)
De-energize the ground service network
(Ref. TASK 24-42-00-862-001).
(3)
Remove the warning notice(s).
