(1) Open these circuit breakers:
(a) P6, Main Power Distribution Panel 1) 6C5, ALTN PWR LOOP A APU FIRE/BLD DUCT OVHT 2) 6H14, APU FIRE/BLD DUCT OVHT LOOP A 3) 6H15, APU FIRE/BLD DUCT OVHT LOOP B

Disconnect the electrical connectors DM216A and DM216D for the loop A and DM216B and DM216C for the loop B for the APU access door detector M216.

Connect a multimeter between the center contacts DM216A and DM216D (loop A) of the detector M216 at the room temperature.

Measure the resistance and make sure the resistance does not exceed
5.84 ohms.

Disconnect the multimeter.

Connect a multimeter between the center contacts DM216B and DM216C (loop B) for the detector element M216 at the room temperature.

Measure the resistance and make sure the resistance does not exceed
5.84 ohms.

Disconnect the multimeter.

Connect a megohmmeter between the center contact of the detector loop A (DM216A or DM216D) to the detector element shell (ground).
