(2) S 025-198Disconnect one electrical connector DM7898 from the smoke detector with the label, FWD CGO 1 LP A.
NOTE:____ The smoke detectors M7898, M7899, M7900, M7901, M4893, M4894, M4895 and M4896 are installed above the ceiling liner at STA 646, 654, 666 and 674 (FWD cargo compartment, Zone 1 thru 4). The smoke detectors M4897, M4898, M4899, M4900, M7902, M7903, M7904 and M7905 are installed above the ceiling liners at STA 1866, 1874, 1886, and 1894 (AFT cargo compartment Zone 1 thru 4).
(3) S 865-134Close these circuit breakers on the P7 panel: (a) 7H14, CARGO SMOKE DETECT LWR A (b) 7H15, CARGO SMOKE DETECT LWR B
(4) S 865-135Push and hold the FIRE/OVHT TEST switch on the miscellaneous switching module. (a) Make sure the EICAS warning message, FIRE CARGO FWD, does not show. (b) Make sure these conditions occur: 1) The cargo fire FWD and AFT warning lights on the fire control module come on. 2) The master WARNING lights come on. 3) The alarm bell comes on.
(5) S 865-139Release the FIRE/OVHT TEST switch. (a) Make sure these conditions occur: 1) The FWD and AFT warning lights go off. 2) The master warning lights go off. 3) The alarm bell goes off. (b) Make sure the EICAS status message, FWD CARGO 1 LP A, shows.
(6) S 865-143Open these circuit breakers on the P7 panel: (a) 7H14, CARGO SMOKE DETECT LWR A (b) 7H15, CARGO SMOKE DETECT LWR B
(7) S 425-201Connect the electrical connector, DM7898, to the smoke detector with the label, FWD CARGO 1 LP A.
NOTE:____ The smoke detector is installed above the access panel in the forward cargo compartment, Zone 1.
