(2) Remove the access panel in the sidewall to get access to the smoke
detectors in the Zone to be cleaned.

(3) Disconnect and remove the manifold above the smoke detectors.
NOTE:____ Remove the tie straps with care. The tie straps are the
white nylon straps used to secure the sleeves that connect
the tubes together. Cut the head of the tie strap rather
that the strap itself to avoid nicks or damage to the rubber
sleeves.

Install caps or tape over the opening of the inlet tubes on the detectors to keep out dust and debris.

Use the tool, G26006, and do the following steps to clean each zone:
(a)
Connect the outlet lines to each port of the piccolo tubes or sampling ports being cleaned, and secure with tie straps.
(b)
Connect the inlet lines to the line previously attached to the manifold next to detectors, and secure with tie straps.
(c)
Fill the small bottle with soap.
CAUTION: BACK-OFF THE REGULATOR AND CLOSE VALVE PRIOR TO CONNECTING
_______ AIR AND WATER SUPPLY OR SWITCHING FROM SOAP/WATER TO WATER OR AIR. DO NOT EXCEED 10 PSI UNLESS DIRECTED IN THE PROCEDURE.
(d)
Back-off the regulator and position valve 2 to Closed.
(e)
Attach shop air and water lines to the inlet assembly.
(f)
Position valve 1 to WATER.
(g)
Position valve 3 to AIR/WATER.
