Push and hold the FIRE/OVHT TEST switch on the miscellaneous switching panel (P5).

OVHT ENG 3 NAC

Push the LSK next to <OTHER FUNCTIONS on the CMC main menu.

Push the LSK next to <INPUT MONITORING.

 (6)  S 865-090TO MONITOR THE ENGINE 3 OR 4 INPUT TO THE EIU; Write in "E/034/271/00"
 (7)  S 865-178Push the LSK next to "-/--/---/--".
 (8)  S 745-179Make sure bit 23 (engine 1 overheat loop A) on the CMC input monitoring is set to zero.
 (9)  S 035-180Disconnect one of the leads (pin A and pin C) labeled loop A of the overheat detector element, TS684, on engine 1 (upper forward right hand side of the engine core).

Pin A: 25 to 30 pound-inches(2.8 - 3.4 newton-meters).

Pin C: 20 to 25 pound-inches(2.3 - 2.8 newton-meteres).

 (16) Connect the loop B lead (pin A and pin C) to the overheat detector element, TS684, on engine 1.
 (a) Tighten the nuts:

Pin A: 25 to 30 pound-inches(2.8 - 3.4 newton-meters).

Pin C: 20 to 25 pound-inches(2.3 - 2.8 newton-meters).
