(f)
If you find a thin layer of black material on the connector, use acetone or methyl alcohol to clean the connector.
(g)
If you find heavy corrosion (green color), replace the connector.

(6) Remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tag and close these circuit breakers:
(a) P6 Main Power Distribution Panel
1) 6C5 ALTN PWR LOOP A APU FIRE/BLD DUCT OVHT
2) 6C6 FIRE SW UNLOCK
3) 6H14 APU FIRE/BLD DUCT OVHT LOOP A
4) 6H15 APU FIRE/BLD DUCT OVHT LOOP B

(7) Close the APU access doors:
(a)
Do a visual check of the APU bus bars:
1) Make sure the bus bars are not damaged.
2) Make sure no metal parts touch the bus bars.
3) Make sure the bus bars do not touch each other.
(b)
Disengage the support rods for the APU access doors.
(c)
Put the support rods in the clips on the inner side of the APU access doors.
(d)
Make sure the insulation covers correctly attach to the APU compartment firewall.
(e)
Close the APU access doors.
(f)
Close the latches on the APU access doors.

APU FIRE SHUTDOWN MODULE - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. General_______
A. This procedure contains two tasks:
(1)
The APU fire shutdown module (M869) removal.
(2)
The APU fire shutdown module (M869) installation.
B. The APU fire shutdown module is installed in the main wheel well on the right side. The APU shutdown module tells the ground crew about an APU fire. The module has a switch to release the APU fire bottle.
