H. Ejector Test

WARNING: YOU MUST OPEN THE APPLICABLE ENGINE IGNITION CIRCUIT BREAKERS
_______ BEFORE YOU OPEN THE ENGINE FUEL CONT VALVE CIRCUIT BREAKER. IF YOU DO NOT OPEN THE IGNITION CIRCUIT BREAKERS, THE IGNITER PLUGS CAN AUTOMATICALLY FIRE. THE IGNITER PLUGS WILL FIRE IF THE FLAPS ARE OUT OF ZERO DETENT, THE NACELLE ANTI-ICE IS ON, THE CON IGNITION SWITCH IS ON, OR THE ENGINE START SWITCH IS ON. IF THE IGNITER PLUGS FIRE, IT CAN CAUSE A FIRE IN THE ENGINE OR THE TAILPIPE. A FIRE CAN CAUSE INJURIES AND CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE ENGINE.
(1) Open these circuit breakers and install a DO-NOT-CLOSE tag.
NOTE: Make sure that you open the circuit breakers in the

sequence that they show.
(a) P6 Main Power Distribution Panel
1) 6F1 IGN 1 ENG 1
2) 6F4 IGN 1 ENG 4
3) 6G1 FUEL SHUTOFF VALVE ENG 1
4) 6G4 FUEL SHUTOFF VALVE ENG 4
5) 6G19 STBY IGN ENG 1
6) 6G22 STBY IGN ENG 4
7) 6J18 ENG START AIR CONT
8) 6K19 IGN 2 ENG 1
9) 6K22 IGN 2 ENG 4
10) 6L10 FUEL CONT VALVE ENG 1
11) 6L13 FUEL CONT VALVE ENG 4

(2) Release the pressure from the pneumatic crossover duct
(AMM 36-00-00/201).

DO NOT OPEN THE IGNITION CIRCUIT BREAKERS, THE IGNITER PLUGS
CAN AUTOMATICALLY FIRE. THE IGNITER PLUGS WILL FIRE IF THE

TO THE ENGINE.
MAKE SURE THAT YOU WEAR EAR PROTECTION DURING THIS PROCEDURE.
THE NOISE LEVEL IN THE CARGO COMPARTMENT WHILE THE EJECTOR
OPERATES CAN CAUSE INJURIES.
(3) Put the engine fuel control switches to RUN for engines 1 and 4.
NOTE: You will find the switches on the P9 panel.

(4) Put the engine fuel control switches to CUTOFF for engines 2 and 3.
NOTE: Make sure that the switches are set to RUN and CUTOFF for
____ five minutes before you examine the EICAS display.

Disconnect the vacuum sense line from the ejectors body 32V44 at STA 971 for the S2276 ejector/STA 1531 for the S2777 ejector.

Connect a water manometer to the vacuum sense line between the ejector and the pressure switch.
NOTE: The manometer must have a range of thirty inches of water.
