Put the access platform in position at left and right, aft and forward passenger/crew door.

Open the door 831, 832, 841 842, (Ref. TASK 52-10-00-010-001).

A. Cleaning
(1) Clean the girt bar fitting stop levers and its surrounding area with a vacuum cleaner to remove the dirt and dust in these areas.
NOTE : Do not apply grease on the cleaned area.

(1)
Do an operational test by pressing the lever (1) down and releasing it.
(2)
Make sure that the lever (1) rises up quickly.
(3)
If the operational test is unsatisfactory:
(a)
Remove the girt bar fitting (Ref. TASK 52-11-31-000-003) or (Ref. TASK 52-13-31-000-003)
(b)
Clean all the components
(c)
Install the girt bar fitting (Ref. TASK 52-11-31-400-003) or (Ref. TASK 52-13-31-400-003)
5. Close-up

A. Close Access
(1)
Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tool(s) and other items.
(2)
Close the door 831, 832, 841 842, (Ref. TASK 52-10-00-410-001).
(3)
Remove the access platform(s).
