A. Installation of the Radome Seal
(Ref. Fig. 413/TASK 53-15-11-991-010)
(1)
Apply SEALANTS (Material No. 09-013) to the bolts (71).
(2)
Install the seal (74) 6 mm (0.2362 in.) from the guide (75) between the frame edge (76) and the related support (73) with the bolts (71) and the nuts (72). Do not tighten.
R Continue this operation until the three supports (73) are fully on R the right or left seal (74), with each support at its related location.

(3) Do this operation again for the other seal (74).
(4) TORQUE the nuts (72) to 0.10 m.daN (8.84 lbf.in). Subtask 53-15-11-220-054
B. Check of the Seal Compression

(1)
Close the radome (82) until the seals (84) touch the aircraft structure (91).
(2)
Measure the clearance C1.
(3)
Fully close the radome (82) (Ref. TASK 53-15-11-410-001).
(4)
Measure the clearance C2.
(5)
Make sure that the two radome seals (84) are correctly compressed along all their length and make sure that the seal compression C1 -C2 is 3 +2 -2 mm (0.1181 +0.0787 -0.0787 in.).
