 D. Cleaning of the Radome
 (1)
 Remove all the particles and contamination with a vacuum cleaner.
 (2)
 Clean the radome with CLEANING AGENTS (Material No. 11-001A) or CLEANING AGENTS (Material No. 11-001Q) and a soft brush or a lint-free cotton cloth MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-003).
 (3)
 Dry the radome with a lint-free cotton cloth MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-003) before the CLEANING AGENTS (Material No. 11-001A) or CLEANING AGENTS (Material No. 11-001Q) becomes dry.

 E. Preparation for the Inspection

 (1) Do a check of the inspection area for damage in Zone A around the fittings. If there is damage:
 (a)
 Immediately remove (Ref. TASK 53-15-11-000-001) and send the radome to a repair station.
 (b)
 Install a new radome (Ref. TASK 53-15-11-400-001).

 (2) Do a check of the inspection area for damage in Zone B. If there is damage: (Ref. Fig. 602/TASK 53-15-11-991-020)
 (a) Measure the distance between the damage areas. 1 The distance between two adjacent areas, X, must be more than
_ X min. X min must be less than or equal to 300 mm (11.8110 in.) and more than or equal to max. (dia.i, dia.j).
 2 If X is less than X min, there is one damage area.
_ 3 If X is less than or equal to 300 mm (11.8110 in.) and more
_ than or equal to X min, there are two different damage areas.
 4 If X is more than 300 mm (11.8110 in.), there are two

 different damage areas.
 (b) Measure the distance between the repairs. 1 The minimum distance between the repairs is 150 mm (5.9055
_ in.). R (c) Measure the distance between the Zone B damage and Zone A. 1 The distance between the damage and Zone A, C, must be more
_ than C min = 0 mm (0.0000 in.).
 2 If C is more than or equal to C min, repair is permitted.
_ Refer to the subsequent paragraph for permitted damages.
 3 If C is less than C min:

 -Immediately remove (Ref. TASK 53-15-11-000-001) and send the radome to a repair station.
 -Install a new radome (Ref. TASK 53-15-11-400-001).
