Make sure that the access platform is in position at zone 812.
(2)
Make sure that the access platform is in position at zone 831.
(3)
Make sure that the FWD passenger/crew door 831 is open (Ref. TASK 52-10-00-010-001).
(4)
Make sure that the avionics-compartment access door 812 is open.

A. Preparation for Installation
(Ref. Fig. 401/TASK 53-19-41-991-001)
(1)
Flush the collector grid (2) and the container (9).
(2)
Remove and clean the strainers (10) of the container.
(3)
Dry the collector grid (2), the container (9) and the strainers (10).
(4)
Install the strainers (10).
(5) Clean the component interface and/or the adjacent area.

B. Installation of the Collector Grid and the Container
(Ref. Fig. 401/TASK 53-19-41-991-001)
(1)
Put the container (9) in position.
(2)
Install the washers (3) and the screws (4).
(3)
Install the washers (5) and the screws (6).
(4)
Tighten the screws (4) and (6).
(5)
Make sure that the line end-fittings are serviceable.
(6)
Connect the ducts (8).
(7)
Install the clamps (7) and TORQUE the clamps to 0.28 m.daN (24.77 lbf.in).
(8)
Put the collector grid (2) in position.
(9)
Install the screws (1) and tighten.

(10) Apply a layer of SEALANTS (Material No. 09-016) between the structure and the grid rack assembly, on the heads of the screws (1) and on the ends of the screws (4) and (6).

Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tool(s) and other items.
(2)
Close the FWD passenger/crew door 831 (Ref. TASK 52-10-00-410-001).
(3)
Close the access door 812.
