-Immediately remove (Ref. TASK 53-15-11-000-001) and send the radome to a repair station.
-Install a new radome (Ref. TASK 53-15-11-400-001).
(c)
If the distance between the damage and the monolithic area is less than 200 mm (7.8740 in.):
-Immediately remove (Ref. TASK 53-15-11-000-001) and send the radome to a repair station.
-Install a new radome (Ref. TASK 53-15-11-400-001).
NOTE : Only one damage area is permitted.
____
(2) Do an inspection for burn spots.
(Ref. Fig. 604/TASK 53-15-11-991-023)
R NOTE : This inspection is not applicable to the radome structure. On
____ R the radome structure, you must examine burn spots as other R types of damage (perforation, scratches...).
(a)
If there are burn spots on the screw-heads on the lightning arrester strips, no procedure is immediately necessary. Do a permanent repair at the subsequent check.
(b)
If there are burn spots on the last screw-head (structure side) of the lightning arrester strips, only one flight is permitted. Do a permanent repair before the subsequent flight.

(c) If there are burn spots on the screw-heads of the radome-to-structure junction, no procedure is immediately necessary. Do a permanent repair at the subsequent check.
(d) If there are burn spots on the lightning arrester strips:
R 1_ If there is one damage area, measure the diameter Y.
a_ If Y is less than or equal to 7 mm (0.2755 in.), no procedure is immediately necessary. Do a permanent repair at the subsequent check.
b_ If Y is more than 7 mm (0.2755 in.): - Immediately remove (Ref. TASK 53-15-11-000-001) and send the radome to a repair station. - Install a new radome (Ref. TASK 53-15-11-400-001).
R R 2_ If there are two damage areas, measure and calculate the sumY3 of the two diameters Y1 and Y2. Measure the distance Z between the two damage areas.
R R R R R R R R R a_ If Y3 is less than or equal to 7 mm (0.2755 in.) and if Zis less than or equal to 5 mm (0.1968 in.): At the subsequent A-Check or C-Check, whichever occurs first: - remove the radome (Ref. TASK 53-15-11-000-001), repair it (Ref. CMM 531511) and install it (Ref. TASK 53-15-11-400-001), - or replace the radome (Ref. TASK 53-15-11-000-001) and (Ref. TASK 53-15-11-400-001).
b_ If Y3 is more than 7 mm (0.2755 in.) and if Z is less than or equal 5 mm (0.1968 in.): - Immediately remove (Ref. TASK 53-15-11-000-001) and send the radome to a repair station. - Install a new radome (Ref. TASK 53-15-11-400-001).
(3) Do an inspection for delamination and debonding in Zone B. (Ref. Fig. 603/TASK 53-15-11-991-021)
(a) Do a tap test to get the delamination diameter (Ref. TASK 53-15-11-700-002).
(b) If the diameter is less than or equal to 250 mm (9.8425 in.), no procedure is necessary. Do a permanent repair at the subsequent C-Check.

(c) If the diameter is more than 250 mm (9.8425 in.):
-Immediately remove (Ref. TASK 53-15-11-000-001) and send the radome to a repair station before the subsequent C-Check.
-Install a new radome (Ref. TASK 53-15-11-400-001).

(d) If the distance between the damage and the monolithic area is less than 200 mm (7.8740 in.):
-Immediately remove (Ref. TASK 53-15-11-000-001) and send the radome to a repair station.
-Install a new radome (Ref. TASK 53-15-11-400-001).
(4) Do an inspection for debonding on the lightning arrester strips. (Ref. Fig. 604/TASK 53-15-11-991-023)
(a)
If there is debonding between two screws on the lightning arrester strips, immediately do a temporary repair with adhesive tape (Ref. TASK 53-15-11-300-001). Do a permanent repair at the subsequent flight.
(b)
If there is debonding at the end of the lightning arrester strips (radome nose side), immediately do a temporary repair with adhesive tape (Ref. TASK 53-15-11-300-001). Do a permanent repair at the subsequent flight.
