(2) If the out-of-flush dimension is not in the tolerances, adjust the position of the locking fitting as follows:
(a)
Loosen the four screws (91).
(b)
Adjust position of the fitting (94) with the serrated plate (95).
(c)
TORQUE the four screws (91) to between 0.26 and 0.30 m.daN (23.00 and 26.54 lbf.in).

F. Check of the Clearances

(1) Measure the out-of-flush dimension A1 between the aircraft structure and the radome. You must do this at:
-15 equidistant points: 1 to 3, 5 to 14, 16 and 17.
-2 specified points at the top left and right corners of the radome: 4 and 15.
(a) Make sure that A1 is +0.5 +2 -2 mm (+0.0196 +0.0787 -0.0787 in.) on the radome periphery.
NOTE : An out-of-flush dimension A1 of +0.5 +2.5 -2 mm (+0.0196
____ +0.0984 -0.0787 in.) is permitted on 25% of the radome periphery (at 4 consecutive points).
NOTE : An out-of-flush dimension A1 of +0.5 +3 -2 mm (+0.0196
____ +0.1181 -0.0787 in.) is permitted at points 1, 2, 3, 4, 15, 16 and 17.
(2) Measure the peripheral clearance J1 between the radome and the aircraft structure. You must do this at:
-15 equidistant points: 1 to 3, 5 to 14, 16 and 17.
-2 specified points at the top left and right corners of the radome: 4 and 15.
(a) Make sure that J1 is 2 -1.5 +1.5 mm (0.0787 -0.0590 +0.0590 in.).

G. Check of the Seal Compression

(1)
Close the radome (102) until the seals (104) touch the aircraft structure (101).
(2)
Measure the clearance D1.
(3)
Fully close the radome (102) (Ref. TASK 53-15-11-410-001).
(4)
Measure the clearance D2.
(5)
Make sure that the two radome seals (104) are correctly compressed along their full length and make sure that the seal compression D1 -D2 is 3 +2 -2 mm (0.1181 +0.0787 -0.0787 in.).

H. Check of the Ohmic Resistance
(1)
Close the radome (Ref. TASK 53-15-11-410-001).
(2)
Measure the ohmic resistance between each lightning arrestor strip of the radome and the adjacent primary structure of the aircraft (Ref. TASK 20-28-00-869-002).
(3) Make sure that the ohmic resistance is correct. Subtask 53-15-11-640-052
J. Application of Grease
(Ref. Fig. 407/TASK 53-15-11-991-014)
(1)
Open the radome (Ref. TASK 53-15-11-010-001).
(2)
Clean the contact surface of the stop fittings (41) with CLEANING AGENTS (Material No. 11-003) and MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-003).
(3)
Apply SPECIAL MATERIALS (Material No. 05-001) on the surface of the stop fittings (41) which touch the structure.
(4)
Close the radome (Ref. TASK 53-15-11-410-001).
