A. Get Access
R (1) Put an access platform at zone 831 (841).
(2) Open the forward passenger/crew door 831 (841), and lock it in the open position (Ref. TASK 52-10-00-010-001).
R R (3) Remove the lining panels at FR16: - For the left door: 221AW, 221BW, 221CW, 221EW, 221FW, 221GW (Ref. TASK 25-23-45-000-005). - For the right door: 222AW, 222BW, 222CW, 222DW, 222EW, 222FW, 222GW (Ref. TASK 25-23-45-000-002).

B. Removal of the Components
(1) Remove the insulation blankets at FR16 (Ref. TASK 25-80-00-000-001).
R (2) Remove the threaded pins (HI-LITE) (1) and the nuts (2). Refer to the Structural Repair Manual (Ref. SRM 514211, P.BLOCK-001). (Ref. Fig. 625/TASK 53-11-00-991-043)
R R R (3) Remove the FWD galleys (Ref. TASK 25-31-41-000-001), (Ref. TASK 25-31-41-000-002), (Ref. TASK 25-31-41-000-008), (Ref. TASK 25-31-41-000-013), if installed.
R (4) Remove the FWD lavatories (Ref. TASK 25-41-41-000-001), if installed.

C. Preparation of the Inspection Area (Ref. Fig. 626/TASK 53-11-00-991-070)
WARNING : USE SOLVENTS/CLEANING AGENTS, SEALANTS AND OTHER SPECIAL_______ MATERIALS ONLY WITH A GOOD SUPPLY OF AIR. OBEY THE MANUFACTURERS INSTRUCTIONS. PUT ON PROTECTIVE CLOTHING. DO NOT GET THEM IN YOUR MOUTH. DO NOT SMOKE. DO NOT BREATHE THE GAS. THESE MATERIALS ARE POISONOUS, FLAMMABLE AND SKIN IRRITANT. GET MEDICAL HELP IF YOUR SKIN OR EYES BECOME IRRITATED.
WARNING : OBEY THE MANUFACTURER'S INSTRUCTIONS WHEN YOU USE THIS/THESE_______ MATERIAL/S. USE PROTECTIVE CLOTHING, RUBBER GLOVES, GOGGLES AND A MASK.
(1) Clean the inspection area with CLEANING AGENTS (Material No. 11-004) and lint-free cotton cloth MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-003), if necessary.
(2) Make sure that the surface of the inspection area is clean and smooth.
(3) Do a visual check of the inspection area for damage or discontinuities.

(4) Make sure that there is no:
R R (a) Corrosion damage: - If you find corrosion damage, refer to the Structural Repair Manual (Ref. SRM 512200, P.Block 001) for types of corrosion, inspection, removal and corrosion protection.
R (b) Other damage (cracks, scratches, stress, marks, dents, bumps...): - If you find this type of damage, refer to the Structural Repair Manual (Ref. SRM 511100, P.Block 001) for damage classification and corrective action.

A. Inspection (Ref. Fig. 626/TASK 53-11-00-991-070)
R R (1) Do a special detailed inspection of the door frame 16, left and right sides. This inspection is applicable at the double joggle area in the outer flange of the frame (at the door stops Number 1 and 7). Refer to the Non-destructive Testing Manual (Ref. NTM 531153, P.Block-601).
