(1) Remove the top layer paint from the inspection area (Ref. TASK 51-75-12-300-001), (Ref. SRM 517500,P.Block-001), (Ref. SRM 512300,P.Block-001).
NOTE : Do not remove the primer from the inspection area.

(2)
Clean the inspection area with CLEANING AGENTS (Material No. 11-004) and a lint-free cotton cloth MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-003), if necessary.
(3)
Make sure that the surface of the inspection area is clean and smooth.
(4)
Do a visual check of the inspection area for damage or
discontinuities.

(5) Make sure that there is no:
(a)
Corrosion damage:
-If you find corrosion damage, refer to the Structural Repair Manual (Ref. SRM 512200,P.Block 001) for types of corrosion, inspection, removal and corrosion protection.
(b)
Other damage (cracks, scratches, stress, marks, dents, bumps...):
-If you find this type of damage, refer to the Structural Repair Manual (Ref. SRM 511100,P.Block 001) for damage classification and corrective action.
4. Procedure

A. Inspection
(Ref. Fig. 611/TASK 53-21-00-991-042)
(1)
Do a special detailed inspection of the circumferential joint at FR35. This inspection is applicable to the external side between STGR10, left side and STGR10, right side (Ref. NTM 532186,P.Block-601).
(2)
Make a report of the damage after the NDT inspection:
(a)
Corrosion damage:
-If you find damage, refer to the Structural Repair Manual (Ref. SRM 512200,P.Block 001) for types of corrosion, inspection, removal and corrosion protection.
(b)
Other damage (cracks, scratches, stress, marks, dents, bumps...):
-If you find this type of damage, refer to the Structural Repair Manual (Ref. SRM 511100,P.Block 001), (Ref. SRM 532111,P.Block 101) or (Ref. SRM 533111,P.Block 101) for damage classification and corrective action.
5. Close-up
