If there is debonding at the end of the lightning arrester strips (structure side) so that they do not touch the structure:
-Immediately remove (Ref. TASK 53-15-11-000-001) and send the radome to a repair station for permanent repair.
-Install a new radome (Ref. TASK 53-15-11-400-001).
R (5) Do an inspection for black marks on the radome.
(a) If there are black marks on the radome, clean the surface area with CLEANING AGENTS (Material No. 11-001A).
(6) Do an inspection for perforations with or without damage to the honeycomb core. (Ref. Fig. 605/TASK 53-15-11-991-022)
(a) If the diameter is less than or equal to 50 mm (1.9685 in.), immediately do a temporary repair with adhesive tape (Ref. TASK 53-15-11-300-001). Do a permanent repair at the subsequent A-Check.
NOTE : Only one damage area is permitted.
