(1) Put an access platform in position at the zone 831 (841).

Open the forward passenger/crew door (Ref. TASK 52-10-00-010-001). Subtask 53-21-00-010-052
B. Removal of the Components
(1) Remove the ceiling panels 231BC, 231CC (Ref. TASK 25-23-41-000-001).
(2)
Remove the insulation blankets (Ref. TASK 25-80-00-000-001) Subtask 53-21-00-110-069
C. Cleaning of the Structure
WARNING : USE SOLVENTS/CLEANING AGENTS, SEALANTS AND OTHER SPECIAL
_______ MATERIALS ONLY WITH A GOOD SUPPLY OF AIR. OBEY THE MANUFACTURERS INSTRUCTIONS. PUT ON PROTECTIVE CLOTHING. DO NOT GET THEM IN YOUR MOUTH. DO NOT SMOKE. DO NOT BREATHE THE GAS. THESE MATERIALS ARE POISONOUS, FLAMMABLE AND SKIN IRRITANT. GET MEDICAL HELP IF YOUR SKIN OR EYES BECOME IRRITATED.
(1) Clean the inspection area with CLEANING AGENTS (Material No. 11-004) and a lint-free cotton cloth MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-003) if necessary.

A. Inspection

(1) Do a detailed inspection of the circumferential joint at FR24. This inspection is applicable between STGR6, left side and STGR6, right side.

(2) Make sure that there is no :
(a)
Corrosion damage :
-If you find corrosion damage, refer to the Structural Repair Manual (Ref. SRM 512200 P.Block 001) for types of corrosion, inspection, removal and corrosion protection.
(b)
Other damage (cracks, scratches, stress, marks, dents, bumps,...).
-If you find this type of damage, refer to the Structural Repair Manual (Ref. SRM 511100 P.Block 001) for damage classification and corrective action.
5. Close-up

A. Installation of the Components
(1)
Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tool(s) and other items.
(2)
Install the insulation blankets (Ref. TASK 25-80-00-400-001).
(3) Install the ceiling panels 231BC, 231CC (Ref. TASK 25-23-41-400-001). Subtask 53-21-00-942-058
B. Close Access
(1)
Close the FWD passenger/crew door (Ref. TASK 52-10-00-410-001).
(2)
Remove the access platform(s).
