(1)
Put the access platform in position in the zone 110 in front of the radome.
(2)
In the cockpit put a warning notice in position to tell persons not to operate the radar system.
(3)
Open the radome (Ref. TASK 53-15-11-010-001).

C. Protection of the Radome.
(1)
Put a plastic bag on the radome.

D. Installation of the Radome Sling.
(1)
Install the SLING-RADOME (98D53103500000) (42) on the radome. (Ref. Fig. 401/TASK 53-15-11-991-001)
(2)
Attach the ends of the sling to the housings of the handles (41) and to the hinge fittings.
(3)
Put the lifting equipment with a capacity of 50 kg (110.2311 lb) in position.
(4)
Put the SLING-RADOME (98D53103500000) (42) under tension.

A. Removal of the Component.

CAUTION : MAKE SURE YOU DO NOT DAMAGE THE ANTENNA.

Remove the cotter pin (7) and discard it.
(2)
Remove the nut (6) and the washer (5).
(3)
Remove the bolt (3).
(4)
Remove the rod (4) from the support (14).
(5)
Remove the cotter pin (9) and discard it.
(6)
Remove the nut (8).
(7)
Remove the bolt (2).
(8)
Remove the rod (4) form the support (1).
