You must obey the fuel safety procedures (Ref. TASK 28-00-00-910-001) when you do work on the fuel system.
(2)
Put the safety barriers in position.
(3)
Put a warning notice in the cockpit to tell persons not to operate the slats.
(4)
Put a warning notice in position to tell persons not to operate the main gear doors.

B. Get Access
(1)
For the solenoid valve of the refuel valve 10QU:
(a)
Open the main gear doors and install the safety devices (Ref. TASK 32-12-00-010-001).
(b)
Put the access platform in position below the refuel valve 10QU.
(2)
For the solenoid valve of the refuel valve 7QU (8QU):
(a)
Put the access platform in position below the applicable access panel 522JB (622JB).
(b)
Remove the applicable access panel 522JB (622JB).
(3)
Put a container below the refuel valve.

A. Removal of the Solenoid Valve
(1)
Disconnect the electrical connector (1).
(2)
Put blanking caps on the disconnected electrical connectors.
(3)
Remove the bolts (2) and the washers (3).
(4)
Remove the solenoid valve (4) from the refuel valve (7).
(5)
Remove and discard the O-rings (5) and (6).
