Make sure that the safety barriers are in position.

B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1)
Make sure that there is not more than approximately 3500 kg (7716.1770 lb) of fuel in the applicable tank. If necessary, move the fuel to the opposite tank (Ref. TASK 28-25-00-869-001) or defuel (Ref. TASK 28-25-00-650-001).
(2)
Make sure that the aircraft electrical circuits are de-energized (Ref. TASK 24-41-00-862-002).
(3)
Make sure that the access platform is below the applicable access panel 522AT(622AT).
(4)
Make sure that the access panel 522AT(622AT) has been removed (Ref. TASK 57-41-37-000-003).
