C. On the refuel/defuel control panel 800VU, make sure that:
-the MODE SELECT switch is set to OFF,
-the OPEN warning light is off.

(1)
Put the access platform in position under the main door of the right main gear.
(2)

Remove the valve actuator 11QU (Ref. TASK 28-25-53-000-001).

A. Removal of the Center Tank Defuel/Transfer Valve
(1)
Put a container below the valve (20).
(2)
Remove the nuts (6), the washers (5), the bolts (3), and disconnect the bonding strips (4) and (19).
(3)
Remove the nuts (17) and the bolts (16).
(4)
Remove the nuts (10) and the bolts (9).
(5)
Loosen the nuts (13) (Ref. Detail C).
(6)
Remove the screws (2).
(7)
Engage the line (14) into the line (15) and the line (11) into the line (7).
(8)
Remove the valve (20). Remove and discard the O-ring (21) and the O-rings (12).
(9)
Put blanking plugs on the disconnected line ends.
