A. Preparation for Installation
(1)
Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent areas with a MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-003) made moist with CLEANING AGENTS (Material No. 11-026).
(2)
Do an inspection of the component interface and/or the adjacent area.

(3) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.

B. Installation of the Center Tank Jet Pump 157QM (158QM)
(1)
Remove the blanking caps from the jet pump (1).
(2)
Install the jet pump (1) with the washers (9) and the bolts (8).
(3)
Remove the blanking cap from the pipe (4).
(4)
Lubricate the new O-ring (2) with FUELS (Material No. 01-001) or COMMON GREASE (Material No. 04-012).
(5)
Install the new O-ring (2) on the pipe (4).
(6)
Install the pipe (4) into the jet pump (1).
(7)
Tighten the nut (3).
(8)
Remove the blanking cap from the pipe (16).
(9)
Put the nut (14) on the jet pump (1).
(10)
Install the retaining ring (15) on the jet pump (1).
(11)
Lubricate the new O-ring (13) with FUELS (Material No. 01-001) or COMMON GREASE (Material No. 04-012).
(12)
Install the new O-ring (13) on the jet pump (1).
(13)
Install the pipe (16) onto the jet pump (1).
(14)
Tighten the nut (14).
(15)
Install the bonding lead (6) with the bolt (5) and the nut (7) (Ref. TASK 20-28-00-912-002).
(16)
Install the bonding lead (10) with the bolt (11) and the nut (12) (Ref. TASK 20-28-00-912-002).

C. Close Access
(1)
Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tool(s) and other items.
(2)
Install the applicable access panel (Ref. TASK 57-17-11-400-001):

install 148AZ.
(3)
Remove the access platform(s).
(4) Close the applicable MLG door (Ref. TASK 32-12-00-410-001). Subtask 28-26-41-865-053
D. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s): 1QL, 2QL, 3QL.

F. Fuel Configuration
