 (a) Put the access platform in position below zone 622.
 (b) Remove the access panel 622JB.
 (5) To get access to the center tank refuel valve 10QU:
 (a) Open the RH MLG door 744 (Ref. TASK 32-12-00-010-001).
 (b) Make sure that the GROUND LOCK SLEEVE (460005835) is on the
 applicable MLG door actuator.
 (c) Put the access platform in position below zone 148.

R  B. Get Access 
R  (1) Open the access panel 192MB to get access to the refuel panel 800VU. 
R  NOTE : Do not keep the door open longer than necessary because the____ 
R  battery can discharge. 
R  (2) Put the access platform adjacent to the refuel coupling 100QM(40QM). 
R  (3) To get access to the left refuel valve 7QU: 
R  (a) Put the access platform in position below zone 522. 
R  (b) Remove the access panel 522JB. 
R  (4) To get access to the right refuel valve 8QU: 
R  (a) Put the access platform in position below zone 622. 
R  (b) Remove the access panel 622JB. 
R  (5) To get access to the center tank refuel valve 10QU: 
R  (a) Open the RH MLG door 744 (Ref. TASK 32-12-00-010-001). 
R  (b) Make sure that the GROUND LOCK SLEEVE (460005835) is on the 
R  applicable MLG door actuator.

 

 (c) Put the access platform in position below zone 148.


R **ON A/C 001-049, 052-099, 101-149, 151-199, 201-299, 401-499,

 C. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
 (1) Make sure that the aircraft and the fuel tanker/pump unit are grounded correctly (Ref. TASK 12-34-24-869-001) and electrically bonded together correctly.
 NOTE : Bonding is essential, grounding is recommended.

 Remove the refuel coupling cap 41QM.

 (3)
 Make sure that the coupling of the fuel supply-hose is clean and then connect it to the aircraft refuel coupling 40QM.

 (4)
 If the intercell transfer valves are open:

 -
the inner and outer cells of the wing tanks fill together

 -
the full capacity of the wing tank is less than normal

 


 -make an entry in the aircraft technical log, to correct the fuel configuration before the next flight (the wing-tank outer-cells must be filled).

 C. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
 (1) Make sure that the aircraft and the fuel tanker/pump unit are grounded correctly (Ref. TASK 12-34-24-869-001) and electrically bonded together correctly.

 Make sure that the coupling of the fuel supply-hose is clean and then connect it to the aircraft refuel coupling 100QM (40QM).

 Subtask 28-25-00-650-066-A
 A. Pressure Refuel
 (1) Start the pump on the fuel tanker/pump unit.
 (2) Push and hold in the manual plunger(s) on the applicable refuel valve(s) 7QU(8QU) or 10QU.
 (3) Monitor the fuel quantity on the refuel control panel 800VU.
 (4) When the quantity of fuel in the tank(s) is correct, release the manual plunger(s) on the related refuel valve(s).

 

 (5) When all the fuel quantities are correct, stop the pump on the fuel tanker/pump unit.
