A. Safety Precautions
(1)
When you do maintenance work on the fuel system you must obey the fuel safety procedures (Ref. TASK 28-00-00-910-001).
(2)
On the APU section of the overhead panel 25VU, make sure that the APU MASTER SW is in the off position (the ON legend is off).

(3) On the FUEL overhead panel 40VU, make sure that all L TK PUMPS and R TK PUMPS pushbutton switches are released (the OFF legends are on).
R (4) Put the WARNING NOTICE in position: - on the overhead panel 25VU, to tell persons not to operate the APU MASTER SW; - on the FUEL panel 40VU, to tell persons not to operate the fuel system; - on the APU FIRE panel 20VU, to tell persons not to operate the fire extinguishing system.

A. Removal of the LP Valve Actuator NOTE : The Actuator P/N: B27000 and the Actuator P/N: A08000 together
____ with the Adaptor P/N: A08900 are 2 way interchangeable.

Actuator (P/N: B27000)
(a)
Disconnect the electrical connectors (2) from the APU fuel LP valve actuator (1).
(b)
Put blanking caps on the disconnected electrical connectors.
(c)
Remove the self-locking nuts (3) and the washers (4).
(d)
Remove the bonding strap (5) from the mounting stud.
(e)
Remove the APU fuel LP valve actuator (1) from the mounting studs.
(f)
Remove and discard the o-ring (6) from the APU LP Valve Actuator.

Actuator (P/N: A08000) from Adaptor (P/N: A08900)
(a)
Disconnect the electrical connectors (2) from the APU fuel LP valve actuator (1).
(b)
Put blanking caps on the disconnected electrical connectors.
(c)
Remove the self locking nut (3) and the washer (4) and remove the bonding strap (5) from the adaptor (7).
(d)
Remove the clamp (6) and remove the APU fuel LP valve actuator

from the adaptor.

Adaptor (P/N: A08900)
(a)
Remove the self-locking nuts (3) and the washers (4).
