Energize the aircraft electrical circuits (Ref. TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
4. Procedure
_________ Subtask 28-40-00-040-052
A. Make sure that the Fuel Tank Contains the Correct Quantity of Fuel
(1) To make sure that the applicable fuel tank contains the correct quantity of fuel, do one of these subsequent steps:
-read the FUEL QTY display on the Multi-Tank Indicator (MTI) 6QT, on the Refuel/Defuel Control Panel 800VU,

-read the applicable MLIs (Ref. TASK 12-11-28-650-007). Subtask 28-40-00-040-053
B. To make sure that the remaining fuel-quantity-indication systems (FQIS) are serviceable, do this procedure:
(1)
Get access to the FUEL page on the MCDU (Ref. TASK 31-32-00-860-001).
(2)
Push in the key adjacent to the FQIS STATUS indication.
(3)
Make sure that the screen displays only the unservicable Line Replaceable Units (LRUs) applicable to the unserviceable FQIS.
(4)
Push the MCDU MENU key. Subtask 28-40-00-040-054
C. To make sure that the related Fuel Flow and Fuel Used indication systems are serviceable, do this procedure:
(1) Get the CFDS MENU page as follows:
(a)
Push in the line key adjacent to the CFDS indication. Make sure that the CFDS menu comes into view.
(b)
Push in the line key adjacent to the LAST LEG REPORT. On the LAST LEG REPORT page make sure that there are no fault messages on:
-
the fuel flow indication system
-
the fuel used indication system.
If necessary, push the NEXT PAGE key to read all of the LAST LEG
ECAM REPORT.
(c) Push in the MCDU MENU key.
(2)
Do the procedure again and read the LAST LEG REPORT. Subtask 28-40-00-941-052
D. Aircraft Configuration
(1)
Put a warning notice in position to tell the flight crew that the applicable outer cell ECAM fuel quantity indication is unserviceable.
(2)
Write an applicable entry in the aircraft technical log book.
