Put a container below the APU fuel vent and drain valve to collect the fuel.

F. On the front firewall FR80 at the tail cone:
(1)
Push and hold the VENT APU FUEL LINE pushbutton switch (8QC).
(2)
When the flow of the fuel stops (2 liters), release the VENT APU FUEL LINE pushbutton switch (8QC).

G. Removal of the Adapter
(1)
Remove the container.
(2)
Remove the ADAPTER - VENT AND DRAIN VALVE, APU (98A28007570000).
(3) Install the blanking plug on the APU fuel vent and drain valve. Subtask 28-29-41-862-050
H. De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits (Ref. TASK 24-41-00-862-002).

J. Get Access
(1)
Put the access platform in position under the main door of the left main gear.
(2)
Open the main door of the left main gear (Ref. TASK 32-12-00-010-001).
(3)
Remove the manhole cover 147AZ (Ref. TASK 57-17-11-000-001).
(4)
Remove the APU fuel LP valve actuator 3QF (Ref. TASK 28-29-51-000-001).

A. Removal of the APU Fuel LP Valve
(1)
Put a container below the valve (5).
(2)
Remove the screw (21), the washer (20) and disconnect the bonding strips (18) and (19).
(3)
Remove the nut (15), the bolt (14) and disconnect the bonding strips
(12) and (13).
(4)
Loosen the nut (11).
(5)
Remove the screws (23) and the washers (24).
(6)
Remove the lines (17) and (22). Remove and discard the O-ring (25).
(7)
Remove the nuts (6).
(8)
Disconnect the line (7) from the valve (5). NOTE : Play at the connections between the lines (7), (8) and (10)

will help you release the line (7).
(9)
Remove and discard the O-ring (16).
(10)
Remove the screws (2) and the washers (3).
(11)
Remove the valve (5). Remove and discard the O-rings (4) and (9).
(12)
Put the blanking plugs on the disconnected pump (26) end and on the disconnected lines (7), (17) and (22) ends.
