Release the nut (3) from the jet pump (1) and move it back along the
pipe (4).

Release the nut (14) from the pipe (16) and move it back along the jet pump (1).

Remove the bolts (8) and the washers (9).
(6)
Remove the jet pump (1).
(7)
Put a blanking cap on the pipe (16).
(8)
Remove and discard the O-ring (2) from the pipe (4).
(9)
Put a blanking cap on the pipe (4).
(10)
Remove and discard the O-ring (13) from the jet pump (1).
(11)
Remove the retaining ring (15) and the nut (14) from the jet pump (1).
(12)
Install blanking caps on each end of the jet pump (1).

B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1)
Make sure that the center tank is defueled (Ref. TASK 28-25-00-650-001).
(2)
Make sure that the remaining fuel has been drained from the center tank (Ref. TASK 28-25-00-650-003).
(3)
Make sure that the applicable MLG door is open (Ref. TASK 32-12-00-010-001).
(4)
Make sure that the GROUND LOCK SLEEVE is installed on the applicable MLG door actuating-cylinder.
