A. Safety Precautions
WARNING : OBEY THE FUEL SAFETY PROCEDURES.

You must obey the fuel safety procedures (Ref. TASK 28-00-00-910-001) when you do work on the fuel system
(2)
Put the safety barriers in position.
(3)
Put a warning notice in position to tell persons not to operate the main gear doors.

B. Get Access WARNING : MAKE SURE THAT THE TRAVEL RANGES OF THE LANDING GEAR DOORS ARE

CLEAR.
(1)
Open the main gear doors (Ref. TASK 32-12-00-010-001).
(2)
Make sure that the GROUND LOCK SLEEVE (460005835) is on the applicable main gear door actuator.
(3)
Put an adjustable access platform in position below the refuel valve (2).

R A. Removal of the Refuel Valve 10QU
(1) Disconnect the electrical connector (6).
(2) Put a blanking cap on the disconnected electrical connector.
(3) Remove the nut (4), the screw (7) and the washers (5) and (8). Disconnect the bonding strap (1).
(4) Remove the nuts (3).
R R R (5) Put a suitable AN3 bolt or NAS 1801 bolt or 10-32 UNF bolt in each extractor bolt hole in the valve (2). Tighten the bolts to loosen the refuel valve (2) from the canister.
(6) Carefully remove the refuel valve (2).
(7) Remove the extractor bolts.
(8) Remove and discard the O-ring (9).
