A. Preparation for a Replacement Component
(1) Install the nut (13) and the circlip (4). Subtask 28-24-41-420-052
B. Preparation for Installation
WARNING : USE SOLVENTS/CLEANING AGENTS, SEALANTS AND OTHER SPECIAL
_______ MATERIALS ONLY WITH A GOOD SUPPLY OF AIR. OBEY THE MANUFACTURERS INSTRUCTIONS. PUT ON PROTECTIVE CLOTHING. DO NOT GET THEM IN YOUR MOUTH. DO NOT SMOKE. DO NOT BREATHE THE GAS. THESE MATERIALS ARE POISONOUS, FLAMMABLE AND SKIN IRRITANT. GET MEDICAL HELP IF YOUR SKIN OR EYES BECOME IRRITATED.
(1)
Clean the component interface and/or the adjacent area with a clean MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-003) made moist with CLEANING AGENTS (Material No. 11-026).
(2)
Do an inspection of the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
(3)
Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
(4)
Remove the blanking cap from the end of the pipe (1).
(5)
Apply FUELS (Material No. 01-001) or COMMON GREASE (Material No. 04-012) to the new O-ring (7) then install the new O-ring (7) on the projection of the LP fuel valve (12).

C. Installation of the LP Fuel Valve 12QM(13QM)
(1)
Remove the cap from the mounting plate (8).
(2)
Install the LP fuel valve (12) on the mounting plate (8).
(3)
Install and tighten the bolts (5).
(4)
Apply FUELS (Material No. 01-001) to the new O-ring (2) and the new O-ring (3).

(5)
Install the new O-rings (2) and (3) on the end of the pipe (1).
(6)
Tighten the nut (13) on the connector (14).
(7)
Safety the nuts (13) and (15) with MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-010).
(8)
Install the bonding strips (6) and (10), the bolt (11) and the nut
(9) (Ref. TASK 20-28-00-912-004).
(9)
Install the LP fuel-valve actuator (Ref. TASK 28-24-51-400-001), but do not close the access panel 522AT(622AT).

D. Emergize the Electrical Circuits
(1) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits (Ref. TASK 24-41-00-861-002).

E. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s): 1QA, 1QG, 2QA, 2QG, 3QG, 4QG, 7QA, 8QA, 29QA, 30QA.

F. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1)
Refuel the applicable tank as necessary (Ref. TASK 12-11-28-650-003).
(2)
On panel 40VU:
-
for the left wing, push (in) the L TK PUMPS 1 and 2 pushbutton switches
-
for the right wing, push (in) the R TK PUMPS 1 and 2 pushbutton switches.

G. Test
(1) Do an operational test of the LP fuel valve (Ref. TASK 28-24-00-710-002).
NOTE : Let the LP fuel valve stay open for 10 minutes (to let the
____ fuel get through the LP fuel valve, for the leak check).

(2) Examine these areas for leaks:
-the LP fuel-valve to mounting-plate interface
-after 10 minutes, the pylon drain hole.

C. Removal of Equipment
(1)
Remove the safety barriers.
(2)
Remove the warning notice(s).
(3)
Remove the access platform(s).
(4)
Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
