On the FUEL overhead panel 40VU:
-
the OFF legend in the L TK PUMPS 1pushbutton switch goes off,
-
the FAULT legend in the L TK PUMPS 1 pushbutton switch stays off.
NOTE : If the FAULT legend in the L TK
____ PUMPS 1 pushbutton switch comes on, then the pump does not operate.
At the APU vent and drain valve:
-make sure that no fuel comes out of the vent and drain valve.
NOTE : No flow of fuel is permitted.
____ That shows that the APU fuel LP valve has no internal leakage. If fuel comes out of the vent and drain valve replace the APU fuel LP valve (Ref. TASK 28-29-41-000-001) and (Ref. TASK 28-29-41-400-001).
On the FUEL overhead panel 40VU:

A. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.

On the ECAM control panel, set the UPPER DISPLAY and LOWER DISPLAY potentiometers to OFF.
(2)
De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits. (Ref. TASK 24-41-00-862-002)

B. Close Access
(1)
Remove the container and the ADAPTER - VENT AND DRAIN VALVE, APU from the APU vent and drain valve.
(2)
Put the blanking plug on the APU vent and drain valve.
(3)
Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tool(s) and other items.
(4)
Close the APU access door 315AL.
(5)
Remove the access platform(s).
(6) Put the system back to the serviceable condition. Subtask 28-29-00-865-055
C. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s): 1QF, 2QF.
