Install the lower end of the control cable through the bearing in the cable support plate on the MEC control box.
(c)
Install the second tabwasher and jamnut below the cable support plate.
(d)
Do not install the lockwire on the jamnut at this time.
(e)
Install the end fitting and the checknut on the control cable.
(f)
Connect the end fitting to the MEC shutoff lever with the bolt, the washer below the bolthead, and the nut. 1) Install the bolt with the bolthead toward the engine
centerline.
(g)
Do not install the aft cover on the MEC.

NOTE: The switches are found between the two brackets in the

Remove the middle brace found behind the forward, bottom panel.

Disconnect the electrical leads from the four switches.
(a) Identify the leads to help in the installation.
