2) No. 2 start lever 3) No. 2 thrust lever 4) No. 1 thrust lever 5) No. 1 start lever 6) Speed brake crank, and if it is necessary, a spacer on each
 side
 7) Stabilizer trim indicator with spacer.

 CAUTION: MAKE SURE THAT THE TWISTED LOCKWIRE ENDS DO NOT EXTEND

 MORE THAN THE WIDTH OF THE DRUM. INTERFERENCE WITH
 ADJACENT COMPONENTS CAN OCCUR.

 (b)  
Install the cable to the drum.

 1)  Put the ball terminal in the relieved area and install lockwire.

 (c)  
Put the spacers in the positions they were at before the
 removal.

 

 NOTE: Make sure that the spacers are in the thrust lever
____
 assemblies.

 (d)  Move the left control shaft from the right to the left while
 you put the levers and the spacers in position.

 (2)  Complete the installation of the left control shaft as follows:
 (a)  Push the left control shaft against the dowel (5).
 CAUTION: DO NOT LET THE SPACERS FALL WHEN YOU PUSH THE DOWEL
_______ FROM THE CONTROL STAND. THE SPACERS WILL BE DIFFICULT TO GET BACK.
 (b)  
Push the dowel with the left control shaft to the left until
 the dowel is clear of the control stand.


 (c)  
The left control shaft should extend 0.25 +0.06/-0.07 inch
 through the frame of the left control stand.

 (3)  
Put the key (9, Fig. 404) into the shaft and the frame of the left control stand.

 (4)  
Install the nut (3) on the left control shaft and tighten the nut to 100-150 inch-pounds.

 (5)  
Install lockwire on the nut and the frame.
