D. Remove the short control shaft, the flap lever, and the stabilizer trim indicator:
S 864-026-C03
(1)
Make the crimped tab straight on the two control shaft cup washers with a lockwasher removal tool.
S 034-027-C03
(2)
Remove the nut and the cup washer from the right end of the short control shaft with the control shaft wrench and the control shaft nut wrench.
S 034-028-C03
(3)
Remove the flap lever, the stabilizer trim indicator, the spacer, and the short control shaft as a unit.
S 434-029-C03
(4)
Install the cup washer and the nut on the end of the short control shaft, finger tight.
E. Remove the thrust lever:

(1) To remove the left thrust lever, remove the following pins from connectors DO8313J and DO8315J (Figs. 405 and 406):

Connector DO8313J:
1) Pins Wire No. 1 001 No. 2 002 No. 3 003 No. 4 004 No. 5 005 No. 6 006
(b)
Connector DO8315J:
1) Pins Wire No. 1 011 No. 2 012 No. 3 013 No. 4 014 No. 5 015 No. 6 016

(2) S 024-032-C03To remove the right thrust lever, remove the following pins from connectors DO8313J and DO8315J (Figs. 405 and 406): (a) Connector DO8313J: 1) Pins Wire No. 19 031 No. 20 032 No. 21 033 No. 22 034 No. 23 035 No. 24 036 (b) Connector DO8315J: 1) Pins Wire No. 19 021 No. 20 022 No. 21 023 No. 22 024 No. 23 025 No. 24 026
(3) S 024-033-C03Separate the left (right) thrust reverser wire bundle from other wire bundles that do not require removal.
(4) S 024-034-C03Remove the clamps for the wire bundle.
(5) S 034-035-C03Remove the cable from the thrust lever cable drum.
(6) S 864-036-C03Make the crimped tab straight on the long control shaft right cup washer with the lockwasher removal tool.
(7) S 034-037-C03Remove the right control shaft nut and the cup washer from the long control shaft. (a) Use the control shaft wrench and the control nut wrench.
