(6) S 865-175-C00Measure the distance between the center of the thrust reverser knob and the highest point on the throttle lever casing as shown in (Fig. 505).
(7) S 865-176-C00If this distance is less than 1.75 inches indicating excessive reverse thrust handle wear refer to 'applicable' CMM procedure for mechanism replacement.
(8) S 495-134-C00Install the rig pin 1 (F70207-23) in the torque switch mechanism of the autothrottle (View B, Fig. 504).
(9) S 495-135-C00Install the rig pin 2 (F70207-8) through the IDLE hole in the strut drum control box (View A, Fig. 504) and into the throttle gearshaft.

(10) If a thrust control cable or cables have been replaced, do these steps:
(a) Adjust the cable tension to approximately 125 pounds (56.8 kilograms).
NOTE: Use a tensiometer to measure the cable tension.

(b)
Remove the rig pins.
(c)
Move the thrust lever 25 times between the idle and the full forward positions.

(11) Adjust the cable tension to the applicable ambient temperature (Table 501).
NOTE: Uniform takeup in A and B cables increases the cable tension.
