(5) Disconnect the cables from the shutoff quadrant as follows:
(a)
ON ENGINE NO. 1; Do the steps that follow: 1) Remove the cable retainer from the quadrant. 2) Disconnect the cable terminals from the quadrant groove. 3) Remove the retainer pin, the bushing, the nut and the
washers. 4) Disconnect the push-pull cable from the quadrant.
(b)
ON ENGINE NO. 2; Do the steps that follow: 1) Remove the retainer pin, the cable retainer, the bushing,
the nut and the washers. 2) Disconnect the cable terminals from the quadrant groove.
3) Disconnect the push-pull cable from the quadrant.
(c) Tag the ESS( )A and ESS( )B cables for correct installation.

ON ENGINE NO. 1; Disconnect the support strut from the shutoff assembly.

Remove the shutoff assembly mounting bolts and the washers.

Remove the assembly from the spar brackets.

Put the fuel shutoff assembly in its position on the spar brackets.

Install the bolts and washers.

Put the T2A cable sheath in the nylon guide block.

ON ENGINE NO. 1;
Connect the support strut to the shutoff bracket.

Connect the cables to the shutoff assembly as follows:
(a) ON ENGINE NO. 1; Do the steps that follow: 1) Put the terminals of the ESS1A and the ESS1B cables in the
quadrant groove. 2) Install the cable retainer. 3) Connect the push-pull cable to the quadrant with the
retainer.
