 CAUTION:_______BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU INSERT THE DOWEL. IF THE NINE SHIMS DO NOT STAY IN THEIR CORRECT POSITION, DAMAGE CAN OCCUR.
 (8)  Put the dowel against the right end of the long control shaft and carefully remove the long control shaft with the dowel.
 NOTE: To help maintain the shim position, put pressure
____ on the long control shaft and tap the dowel into place.

 (9)  Remove the thrust lever.
 (a)  
When you remove the thrust lever No. 2, insert the dowel through the right support frame, bushing, shim, and start lever No. 2. Keep the long shaft through the left support frame, bushing, shim, No. 1 start lever, No. 1 thrust lever, and two shims.

 (b)  
When you remove the thrust lever No.1, insert the dowel through the right support frame, bushing, shim, start lever No. 2, thrust lever No. 2, and two shims. Keep the long control shaft through the left support frame, bushing, shim, and start lever No. 1.

 (1)  Put the thrust lever on the long control shaft.
 (a)  When you install the thrust lever No. 2, Insert the dowel through the right support frame, bushing, shim, and strut lever No. 2. Insert the long shaft through the left support frame, bushing, shim, No. 1 start lever, No. 1 thrust lever, and two shims.

(b)  When you install the thrust lever No. 1, Insert the dowel through the right support frame, bushing, shim, start lever No. 2, thrust lever No. 2, and two shims. Insert the long control shaft through the left support frame, bushing, shim, and start lever No. 1.
 CAUTION: CUT THE TWISTED LOCKWIRE ENDS OFF IF THEY EXTEND MORE THAN
_______ THE WIDTH OF THE DRUM. INTERFERENCE WITH ADJACENT COMPONENTS CAN OCCUR.
 (c)  
Install the cable on the drum and seat the ball terminal in the relieved area and install lockwire.

 (d)  
Make sure that the spacers are in the correct position.

 CAUTION:_______BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU INSERT THE DOWEL. IF THE NINE SHIMS DO NOT STAY IN THEIR CORRECT POSITION, DAMAGE CAN OCCUR.
 (2)  
Move the long control shaft apart from the dowel sufficiently to put the thrust lever into its position.

 (3)  
Carefully replace the dowel with the long control shaft.


 NOTE: To help keep the shims in position, put pressure
____ on the dowel and carefuly tap the long shaft into position.
 Be careful to prevent cocking of the levers in stackup and make sure that the shims stay in their correct position.
