NOTE: This positions the thrust control push-pull cable-to-control

Remove the disconnect clamps from the thrust control and the feedback push-pull cables of the thrust reverser.

Put the control box in its position on the spar brackets.

Install the bolts and the washers to the control box.

If the rig pin is not installed in the control box, put the control box quadrant in position so that the rig pin can be inserted through the PT PWR rig pin hole in the housing into the throttle gearshaft within the housing.

Connect the cores of the reverser feedback and the thrust control push-pull cables to the correct control box racks.

Install the disconnect clamps.

Put lockwire on the clamp screws.

(7) Put the thrust control cables in the cable quadrant as follows:
(a)
ON ENGINE NO. 1; Put the T1A/T1B cable in the quadrant groove with the ball terminal in the indentation. 1) Install lockwire to keep the cable in its position.
(b)
ON ENGINE NO. 2; Install the T2A cable in the quadrant lower groove, and the T2B cable in the upper groove. 1) Install the terminal retainer screws.

QUADRANTS IN THE WING LEADING EDGE AREA ARE NOT MOIST BEFORE
YOU INSTALL THE ACCESS PANEL 6301 OR 6401. MOISTURE CAN
FREEZE DURING FLIGHT AND PREVENT CORRECT SYSTEM OPERATION.
