 (1)  If the cable assembly is put into storage, the minimum coil diameter for 1/16 and 3/32 inch cable is 9 inches.

Grease is applied to all carbon steel wire rope.

 (a)  The proof load for the T1A/T1B-1, the T2A/T2B-1, the ESS1A/ESS2A-1 and the ESS1B/ESS2B-1 cables is 400-425 pounds.

(2)  S 992-022-C00The proof load for a cable assembly with a 1/16 inch segment is 288-313 pounds.
 (3)  S 992-023-C00Proof load the cable assembly from end to end in straight lengths.
 (4)  S 992-024-C00Proof load the cable assemblies with intermediate terminals as follows: (a) Proof load the cable between the intermediate fittings and one end fitting. (b) Proof load the cable between one end fitting and the other end fitting.
 (5)  S 992-025-C00Kinks, popped cores, protruding wire ends, and broken wires are not permitted.
 (6)  S 992-026-C00Slippage between the wire rope and the fitting is not permitted.
