Install the F70207-23 rig pin through the R rig pin hole into gear in the main engine control (MEC) control box.

Remove the push-pull cable.
(a)
Disconnect the push-pull cable from the strut drum control box. 1) Remove the disconnect clamp at the strut drum control box. 2) Remove the push-pull cable core from the control box rack.
(b)
Open the clamp blocks in the strut structure and the fan cowl support beam to release the push-pull cable.
(c)
Remove the clamp from the push-pull cable in the fan cowl support beam.
(d)
Remove the penetration fitting from the fan cowl support beam.
(e)
Open the five quick-release clamps on the engine brackets to remove the push-pull cable.
(f)
Remove the push-pull cable from the fuel control box on the main engine control (MEC). 1) Remove the disconnect clamp at the MEC fuel control box.
(g)
Remove the push-pull cable from the control box rack.
(h)
Pull the push-pull cable down from the opening in the fan cowl support beam.

E. Install the thrust control push-pull cable.

(1) Install the push-pull cable (Fig. 401).
(a)
Install the upper end of the push-pull cable up through the opening in the fan cowl support beam.
(b)
Push the cable aft through the fan cowl support beam and the strut structure to the strut drum control box.
(c)
Connect the push-pull cable to the strut drum control box. 1) Connect the push-pull cable to the rack of the strut drum control box. 2) Install the disconnect clamp on the push-pull cable and the
