(b)  
Pull the tie rod (8) from the right side of the spline shaft.

 (c)  
Remove the right control wheel (6) from the spline shaft.

 (d)  
Remove the left and right top side doors (5).

 (e)  
Remove the bottom right access panel (9).

 (f)  
Disconnect the stabilizer trim cutout switches (14).

 (g)  
Cut the lockwire at the nut on the right control shaft (1). 1) Remove the nut (1).

 (h)  
Remove the engine and APU fire control module (15) from the aft electronic panel (AMM 26-21-51/401).

 (i)  
Remove the forward and aft cover tie straps (4 and 2, Fig. 404).

 (j)  
Remove the forward and aft cover angles (6 and 8, Fig. 404).

 (k)  
Remove the horn cutout switch (16, Fig. 403).

 (l)  
Remove the cover assemblies (5, Fig. 404) from the control stand.

 (m)  
Remove the frame (3, Fig. 403) from the right control stand.

 (n)  
Remove the key (4) from the slot in the right control shaft (12).

 (o)  
Install the control shaft nut (1) on the right control shaft (11) so that the spacer, stabilizer trim indicator, spacer and flap handle can be removed as a unit.

 (p)  
Remove the bolt (13) and remove the indicator link (12) from the stabilizer trim indicator.

 (q)  
Remove the right control shaft (11) with the nut, spacer, trim indicator, spacer, and flap handle as a unit.

 (r)  
Turn the left stabilizer trim wheel until you can get access to the connector link (10) in the stabilizer trim chain.

 (s)  
Remove the connector link and remove the chain from the sprocket. 1) Safety the chain in the bottom of the control stand with a

 wire.

 (t)  
Remove the trim control wheel for the left stabilizer (1, Fig. 404) from the spline shaft (7).

 (u)  
Remove the spline shaft (7) from the left side and the sprocket from the right side of the control stand.

 (v)  
Cut the lockwire at the nut (3) on the left control shaft. 1) Remove the nut (3).

 (w)  
Remove the left bottom access panel.
