AUTOTHROTTLE TORQUE SWITCH MECHANISM - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

 1.  General
_______
 A.  This procedure contains two tasks. The first task removes the autothrottle torque switch mechanism. The second task installs the autothrottle torque switch mechanism.
 B.  In this procedure the autothrottle torque switch mechanism is referred to as the torque switch mechanism.

 (1)  Open these circuit breakers and attach DO-NOT-CLOSE tags:
 (a)  P18-1 Panel
 1) AUTOTHROTTLE AC
 2) AUTOTHROTTLE DC

 S 014-004-C00
 (2)  Open the electronic equipment access door No. 1201
 (AMM 12-31-11/201).

 D.  Remove the Torque Switch Mechanism
 S 494-005-C00
 (1)  Install cable clamps on the cables.

 (2)  Disconnect the T( )A and T( )B cables at the turnbuckles forward and aft of the torque switch mechanism (AMM 76-11-04/201). (a) Tag the cables to make sure the installation is correct.
 S 034-007-C00
 (3)  Disconnect the leads of the torque switch from the adjacent terminal block.
 (a)  Tag the switch leads to make sure the installation is correct.
