(9) Install the stabilizer trim control wheels:
(a)
Install the left stabilizer trim control wheel in the correct position on the spline shaft.
(b)
Install the right stabilizer trim control wheel on the splined shaft.
NOTE: Handles on the stabilizer trim control wheels must
____ be 90 (|15) degrees apart when installed on the control stand.
(c) Install the bolts.
1) Tighten the bolts to 150-170 inch-pounds (16.9-19.2 newton-meters).

Make sure that the stabilizer trim indicator position agrees with the position of the stabilizer.
(a) If it is necessary, adjust the position of the indicator (AMM 27-41-00/501).
(2)
Connect the connector link in the stabilizer trim chain.

Adjust the stabilizer trim chain so that a 5-pound force will deflect the chain 0.25 +0.07/-0.07 inch at a point 4.5 +1.0/-1.0 inches above the forward tangent of the forward mechanism sprocket.
