 3)  P18-2 Electronic System Captain Panel a) IRS NO. 1 AC
 I.  Ground Horn Check through IRS
 S 865-060
 (1)  Make sure that these circuit breakers are closed:
 (a)  P18-3 PASS CAB EXT LTG/W/HH + AA/I PANEL
 1) NORMAL SUPPLY FAN PWR

 2) ALT SUPPLY FAN PWR
 3) NORMAL EQUIP COOLING FAN CONTROL
 4) ALT EQUIP COOLING FAN CONTROL

 (2)  Do these steps to do the ground horn check through the IRS.
 CAUTION:_______SOME SWITCHES MUST BE PULLED AND THEN TURNED. IF YOU TRY TO TURN THESE SWITCHES BEFORE YOU PULL THEM, YOU CAN DAMAGE THEM.
 (a)  
Set the switches on the MSU to the ATT position.

 (b)  
Open the IRS NO. 1 AC circuit breaker on the P18-2 panel. 1) Make sure that the ON DC light on the left side of the MSU comes on. 2) Make sure that the IRS annunciator light on the captain's side of the pilots' lightshield comes on.

 3)  After approximately 25 seconds, make sure that the crew horn operates.

 (c)  
Close the IRS NO. 1 AC circuit breaker on the P18-2 panel. 1) Make sure that the ON DC light on the left side of the MSU turns off. 2) Make sure that the IRS annunciator light on the captain's

 side of the pilots' lightshield goes off. 3) Make sure that the crew horn stops.

 (d)  
Open the IRS NO. 2 AC circuit breaker on the P6-1 panel. 1) Make sure that the ON DC light on the right side of the MSU comes on. 2) Make sure that the IRS annunciator light on the captain's side of the pilots' lightshield comes on.

 3)  After approximately 25 seconds, make sure that the crew horn operates.

 (e)  
Close the IRS NO. 2 AC circuit breaker on the P6-1 panel. 1) Make sure that the ON DC light on the right side of the MSU goes off. 2) Make sure that the IRS annunciator light on the captain's


 side of the pilots' lightshield goes off. 3) Make sure that the crew horn stops.

 (f)  Open the NORMAL SUPPLY FAN PWR circuit breaker on the P18-3 panel. 1) Make sure the EQUIPMENT COOLING OFF light on the P5 panel
 turns on.

 NOTE: Permit 1 or 2 minutes for the light to turn on
____ because of the external temperature.
 2)  After approximately 25 seconds, make sure that the crew horn operates.
 (g)  
Close the NORMAL SUPPLY FAN PWR circuit breaker on the P18-3 panel. 1) Make sure that the crew horn turns off.

 (h)  
Set the EQUIPMENT COOLING switch on the P5 panel to the ALTERNATE position.

 (i)  
Open the ALT SUPPLY FAN PWR circuit breaker on the P18-3 panel.


 1)  Make sure that the EQUIPMENT COOLING OFF light on the P5 overhead panel turns on.
 NOTE: Permit 1 or 2 minutes for the light to turn on
____ because of the external temperature.
 2)  After approximately 25 seconds, make sure that the crew horn operates.
 (j)  
Close the ALT SUPPLY FAN PWR circuit breaker on the P18-3 panel. 1) Make sure that the crew horn turns off.

 (k)  
Set the EQUIPMENT COOLING switch on the P5 panel to the NORMAL position.


 J.  Put the Airplane Back to Its Usual Condition
 S 865-077
 CAUTION:_______SOME SWITCHES MUST BE PULLED AND THEN TURNED. IF YOU TRY TO TURN THESE SWITCHES BEFORE YOU PULL THEM, YOU CAN DAMAGE THEM.
 CAUTION:_______TURN THE TWO SWITCHES ON THE MSU TO THE OFF POSITION. FAILURE TO TURN THE SWITCHES OFF CAUSES A HORN IN THE NOSE WHEEL WELL TO START.
 (1)  
Turn the two switches on the MSU to the OFF position.

 (2)  
Turn off the EFIS cooling if it is not necessary (AMM 21-58-02/501).
