Release the DSPL SEL switch on the ISDU.

Set the SYS DSPL switch on ISDU to R.

Set and hold the DSPL SEL switch on the ISDU in the TEST position.
NOTE: Release the DSPL SEL switch from the TEST position and

it goes back to the TK/GS position.
Release the switch to stop the test.
You will possibly have to do this step again to see all effects of the test.
1) For seconds 0-2, make sure that: a) The display on the ISDU comes on. b) The ALIGN, FAULT, ON DC, and DC FAIL annunciators on
the right side of the MSU are on. c) The IRS master caution light on the first officer's side of the pilot's lightshield comes on. 2) For seconds 2-10, make sure that: a) The ALIGN, FAULT, ON DC, and DC FAIL annunciators on the right side of the MSU turn off. b) The IRS master caution light on the first officer's
side of the pilot's lightshield turns off. c) The display on the ISDU turns off. d) The HDG flag on the first officer's HSI comes into
view. e) The ATT flag on the first officer's ADI comes into view.

3) For seconds 10 and on, make sure that: a) The pitch display on the first officer's ADI reads 5 degrees pitch up. b) The roll display on the first officer's ADI reads 45
degrees roll right. c) The first officer's HSI heading reads 15 degrees. d) The first officer's RDDMI heading reads 15 degrees. e) The first officer's HSI display of the ground speed
reads 200 knots. f) The first officer's HSI display of the drift angle reads -10 degrees left.
(f) Release the DSPL SEL switch on the ISDU.
F. Built-In Test Equipment (BITE) Test of the IRS

CAUTION:_______SOME SWITCHES MUST BE PULLED AND THEN TURNED. IF YOU TRY TO TURN THESE SWITCHES BEFORE YOU PULL THEM, YOU CAN DAMAGE THEM.

Set the switches on the MSU to the ALIGN or NAV position.
