IRS TRANSFER RELAY - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. General
_______
A. This procedure contains two tasks. The first task is for the removal of an Inertial Reference System (IRS) transfer relay. The second task is for the installation of an IRS transfer relay.
B. The two relays are installed on the E1-2 shelf in the main equipment center. IRS transfer relay #2, R378, is installed above IRS transfer relay #1, R377.
C. IRS transfer relay #1 is the same as IRS transfer relay #2.

(1) Open this circuit breaker and attach a DO-NOT-CLOSE tag:
(a) P18 Circuit Breaker Panel
1) INSTRUMENT TRANSFER

Remove the screws from the face of the relay.

Remove the relay from the rack.

C. Procedure

(1) Make sure that this circuit breaker is open:
(a) P18 Circuit Breaker Panel
1) INSTRUMENT TRANSFER

Connect the relay to the rack.

Install the screws into the face of the relay.

Remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tag and close this circuit breaker:
(a) P18 Circuit Breaker Panel
