(a)
Do the prepare for the system test.
(b)
Set a frequency of 108.10 MHz on the No. 1 VHF NAV control panel. 1) Make sure the GS flags and the glide slope pointer show on
the captain's ADI. 2) Make sure the VERT flag and the glide slope pointer show on the captain's HSI.
(c)
Set the output of the ramp test set to supply an on-course glide slope signal at a frequency of 334.7 MHz. 1) Make sure the GS flag on the captain's ADI goes out of
view. 2) Make sure the glide slope pointers on the captain's ADI are in the center. 3) Make sure the VERT flag on the captain's HSI goes out of view. 4) Make sure the glide slope pointers on the captain's ADI are in the center.
(d)
Adjust the output of the ramp test set to supply a glide slope down signal. 1) Make sure the glide slope pointer on the captain's ADI
moves in the down direction. 2) Make sure the glide slope pointer on the captain's HSI moves in the down direction.
(e)
Adjust the output of the ramp test set to supply a glide slope up signal. 1) Make sure the glide slope pointer on the captain's ADI
moves in the up direction. 2) Make sure the glide slope pointer on the captain's HSI moves in the up direction.
(f)
On the ramp test set, remove one of the two components (90Hz or 150Hz) of the glide slope test signal. 1) Make sure the GS flag shows on the captain's ADI. 2) Make sure the VERT flag shows on the captain's HSI.
(g)
Adjust the output of the ramp test set to supply an on-course glide slope signal. 1) Make sure the GS flag on the captain's ADI goes out of
