 (ab) Move the ramp test set below the airplane nose. 1) Make sure the navigation warning flag on the first officer's HSI goes out of view. (ac) Set the two F/D switches on the DFCS mode control panel to the OFF position. (ad) Close this circuit breaker: 1) P18 Load Control Center - Left a) VOR/LOC-1
 G. VOR Test

 (1)  Do the VOR test:
 (a)  
Do the prepare for the system test.

 (b)  
Set up the ramp test set to supply a 0° radial with a modulation of 1020Hz at a frequency of 108.00 MHz.

 (c)  
Make sure there is no VOR sound heard when the test set and the receivers are tuned to different frequencies.

 (d)  
Make sure the compass system shows a heading of zero degrees.

 (e)  
Set a frequency of 108.0 MHz on the No. 1 VHF NAV control panel. 1) Make sure the narrow pointer flags on the two RDDMIs are

 out of view. 2) Make sure the glide slope flags and glide slope pointers on the ADIs and HSIs are out of view. 3) Make sure the to-from display on the captain's HSI shows "from." 4) Make sure that the narrow pointers on the two RDDMIs show 180 |4 degrees.

 (f)  
Turn the captain's course knob until the course deviation bar on the captain's HSI is in the center. 1) Make sure the course counter on the captain's HSI shows

 000 |2 degrees. 2) Make sure the course deviation bar on the captain's HSI is parallel to the narrow pointers on the two RDDMIs.

 (g)  
Turn the captain's course knob until the course deviation bar is on the second dot in the left direction. 1) Make sure the course counter shows 350 |4 degrees.

 (h)  
Turn the captain's course knob until the course deviation bar is on the second dot in the right direction. 1) Make sure the course counter shows 010 |4 degrees.

 (i)  
Turn the captain's course knob until the course counter shows 000 degrees.

 (j)  
Set the VOR bearing selector on the ramp test set to the radials shown in Table 501. 1) Make sure the narrow pointers in the two RDDMIs and the


 displays in the captain's HSI agree with Table 501.
